Sales and point of sale

POS billing and invoicing on the same books

Ring up a sale at the till or raise an invoice from a quote - both land in the same books, with the tax worked out and the stock moved by the goods issue. Reminders go out for what's overdue.

How it works

Three steps, each on its own screen in f-ai.

  1. 01

    Quote or ring it up

A quote turns into an order and an invoice; a till sale prints its bill at once.

  2. 02

    Deliver it

A goods issue takes the stock out - the invoice never changes stock by itself.

  3. 03

    Get paid

Payments clear invoices; overdue ones get reminders.

What it does

  • A fast till

Sessions, cash counts, barcode scans and printed bills.

  • Quotes, orders and invoices

One leads to the next, with nothing typed twice.

  • Recurring invoices

Rent, retainers and subscriptions raised on their date.

  • Credit notes

Returns and corrections with the tax and stock right.

  • Reminders

Overdue invoices get a reminder on the schedule you set.

  • Price lists

Prices by customer or quantity, from Growth.

Questions

Is there free billing software for a shop?

f-ai has no free plan. Sales and the till are in every plan, and you can try it on your own company free for 14 days, without a card.

Do invoices change my stock?

No. Stock moves with the goods issue, so a sale's invoice never changes a count by itself.

Can I use it on a tablet at the counter?

Yes - the till works in the browser on a tablet or a computer.

Can customers pay online?

Yes - with a payment link on the invoice, where you have a payment gateway set up.
