Inventory
Inventory management that knows where every unit is
Stock by location, moved by goods receipts, goods issues and transfers - never by a typed number. Batches and expiry, counts, reorder levels and recipes, on the same books as your sales and purchases.

How it works
Three steps, each on its own screen in f-ai.
- 01
Receive it
A goods receipt against the order adds stock at the location it arrived at, at its cost.
- 02
Move it
A transfer takes stock from one location and adds it at another - both counts change together.
- 03
Count it
A stock count compares what's on the shelf with the books and posts the difference with its reason.
What it does
Stock by location
Every shop, warehouse and godown with its own count and value.
Transfers
Send, receive and see what's in transit between locations - from Growth.
Batches and expiry
Sell the oldest first; see what expires in the next 30 days. Tracing where a batch went is from Growth.
Stock counts
Count a shelf or a whole location; differences post with a reason - from Growth.
Recipes and bills of materials
Selling a dish or a kit draws down every ingredient or part - from Growth.
Barcodes
Scan to find an item, receive it or count it.
Questions
Is there free inventory management software?
f-ai has no free plan. Stock levels, goods receipts and goods issues are in every plan, with batches and expiry; several locations and transfers, batch tracing, stock counts and recipes start on Growth, and you can try it on your own company free for 14 days, without a card.
Do invoices change my stock?
No. Stock moves with goods receipts and goods issues, so an invoice never changes a count by itself.
Can I see what my stock is worth?
Yes - the valuation report gives each location's stock at cost, and the ageing report shows what has sat longest.
Does it work for a restaurant?
Yes, from Growth - a recipe draws down each ingredient when the dish is sold.
