## How it works

Three steps, each on its own screen in f-ai.

1. 01 **Receive it** - A goods receipt against the order adds stock at the location it arrived at, at its cost.
2. 02 **Move it** - A transfer takes stock from one location and adds it at another - both counts change together.
3. 03 **Count it** - A stock count compares what's on the shelf with the books and posts the difference with its reason.

- **Stock by location** - Every shop, warehouse and godown with its own count and value.
- **Transfers** - Send, receive and see what's in transit between locations - from Growth.

## Questions

**Is there free inventory management software?**

**Do invoices change my stock?**

No. Stock moves with goods receipts and goods issues, so an invoice never changes a count by itself.
